cant find the bolts

hey, i wanted to do a coolant flush but i cant find the drain plugs in the block, i have the haynes manual for it but even with their diagram i cant for the life of me find em :S its the V6 LA engine in a 1988 d100

I am not sure but I think its only freeze plugs. I could be very wrong though.

Does the book show them on the side of the block or on the back where the tranny mounts up to the block?

it shows them on the side of the block just under the exhaust manifolds, the underside of the engine is rusted so its hard to see with what little light i have, but definitely on the side of the block as per their diagram
