Dodge "Death Wobble"
Well, again its time to replace the track bar on the 95 Ram 4X4 with 240k miles. You guys got any cure for this. It will be the 5th track bar. Ever had this happen to you? About 60mph+, hit a bump and the front axle will oscillate side to side like it is going to tear itself off the truck. Scary ****! Any cures? Or should I buy the autozone guarranteed for life one and let them start replacing it? Thanks guys.

Buy the auto-zone guarantee for life one and let them start replacing it.
There has to be something else that is causing the track bars to fail. Have you inspected the upper and lower control arm bushing, steering stabilizer, TREs, ball joints, etc?

Had the same Issue
I have had the same issue with my '95 I did the Autozone thing and sofar its done ok. I havent had to pull it again. I also would appreciate some suggestions for this. The ball joints (Upper and lower) are fairly new to the truck... and it only has 135,000 miles. oh allready had two track bars on it.

Well, its the track bar again. Thought it would last more than 8 months! Ball joints are solid, small issue with the right outer tie rod end. Had the wife saw the wheel back and forth and looked for the slack. At least its an easy fix. Did some more reading [big surprise!] found this is common on all the 95-00 Rams with solid axles [4x4]. The fixes can be expensive but worth it if you are very into off-road, or have a 2500 or bigger. The best ones are a heavier bar with a large, replaceable style ball joint in the bar. Any decent 4x4 shop should be able to help you. For us guys that just need 4x4 for the snow and fields, the lifetime autozone part might be the best bet. Hope this can help others. Scotty
