Well done Mack, she sounds sweet !!

MReeves 10-03-2010 05:33 AM

Thanks Guys.... I do like the deep sound.... And this was thru mufflers.. We did pull them off and it was quite a difference.. Engine builder wanted to keep it as quite as possible so he could hear the engine and not the exhaust..... Next step is the dyno...... Will decide that sometime early this week.......

Someone in a previous post ask about the rear brakes. So here they are.... Any yes this means the rear is fixed and already back in the car.... The tire now sits in the middle of the fenderwell and still has app 3/4" before it sticks out the top of the fender... Just what I wanted.. I think he finally got it right!!!!!! Anyway, here is the rear brake picture..

67 GTX 10-09-2010 11:53 AM

are dual calipers really necessary?

MReeves 10-09-2010 11:55 AM

Most stockers do run duals. The reason is that they get on the converter so much due to the fact that trans-brakes are not allowed in Stock. So you need the duals to make sure you don't "creep" thru the lights.. You can use a two step but have to hold it on the line with the brakes.. Good question!!!!!
