Just About Together

The Challenger is almost done.. Or at least all the hard work... I do have to install the acusump and two fittings on the fuel lines and wire in the FAST system that is a plug N play system... Also have to figure out how to set up a two-step with their ignition and also how to get the rpm wire to the tranny controller... Plus how to wire in the driveshaft speed monitor... So a little more work but at least its not removing the tranny and converter. Taking the headers off or ???? Also learned that I will be raising the front end some.... Its so low now that I can't get a floor jack under the front crossmenber to jack it up... Had some homemade ramps that I used on a low chassis car and pushed it on them to get the jack under it... Damm sure does look good!!!!! Would like to leave her there but don't think that would pass tech..

Be back home late tonite and hopefully get some work done this weekend... Got friends coming in from Cape Cod for a week so not much will be done during their visit... But, I may have to slip out to the shop for at least a couple hours a day....

Hey got the company back to Cape Cod and now its time to finish this.... Worked yesterday and got a lot done!!!! Still have a lot to do to go racing but if all goes well today we will fire the engine in the car... All I have left is to put tranny fluid in and get a spring for the lower radiator hose and put some water in her and fire it up..... Shouldn't take over a couple of hours... Will try to get a video of the firing.......

As you can tell it didn't work out just as I had planned... I had more to do and tried to fire about 5 pm and it just wasn't going to happen... It was spitting and sputtering so just cleaned up and put everything away until I get back home this weekend... Shouldn't take that long to finish her up.... Will get it posted as soon as i get it done!!!
