ANYBODY RUNNING DRAG RADIALS?

If your running drag radials how do you like them and what have you got them on?
I bought a pair of 315/60/15s for my Cuda and I'm wondering how they would be at the track. I hope I'll be making around 750hp, the car should be around 3600lbs and I've got a 4500rpm stall convertor.

not bad...i was dealing with some blood pressure issues for a while, but im all fixed up now. we had an incredibly busy past few months. we had three weddings, two of which i was the best man...one was in miami, one in pittsburgh...then we took the mirada and demon to the mopar world finals in norwalk...then weve been dealing with horse shows and such. ill make a thread about the racing rather than jacking this thread!

I am assuming you are referring to dot drag radials. If your are putting that much horsepower to the pavement then your suspension is definately going to have to be in fine tune, otherwise, you will be needing 11 or 12 inch drag racing only slicks to hook that monster up. I've been there. I had dot drag radials on my '69 roadrunner and was making at that time around 434 hp at the rear wheels and close to 600 hp on the bottle. I was running 10 inch Hoosier Quick Time Pro's and they seldom hooked and then I opted for 11.5 Micky Thompson ET Drag's and hooked 98% of the time. My setup included the subframes tied, hemi b body leaf springs, drag shocks (rear), adjustable shocks (front) and set at 90-10 for faster front end rise, front sway bar removed, battery relocated to right rear trunk space, and adjustable pinion snubber set close to floor pan to aid in planting those rear tires. I am not a fan of the dot tires for track performance because I just couldn't get them to bite consistently with my setup.

Yes there're DOT, I do have Caltracs and monoleaf springs with Rancho 9000 shocks for it but I'm a little worried. I don't want to put the thing in the wall or worse somebody else. If they give me any trouble at all I'll get slicks and anothe pair of wheels.
