I just checked the entry list and Don Garlits has entered his new Challenger Drag Pac car in Stock Eliminator at the Mac Tools US Open at Indy. He is one of two Challenger Drag Pac car entered. Drag Pac car #3 is entered in Stock by Randall Warford of Nashville In. This will be the first time the Challenger Drag Pac factory cars have been in competition. Doug Duell has been running his version of the Drag Pac car for some time and has ran as quick as 10.10 at 133 mph...

 

He's also going to be the Grand Marshall at Cordova this month 28th-30th. It's a Great show I have raced there one weekend when they had this event.

Hey Outlaw, were you there??? I understand he had his new Dodge Challenger Drag Pac there doing some testing before he goes to Indy. Did you see it run??? If so what times did he run???

 

No I wasn't there but I sure wish I had been. I did a change over fron race gas to Alcohol on the car and have not been able to do any testing . We are very busy at work so almost every Saturday is spent at work. I did see Don's going to be at the SEMA Breakfast this year. HAve a good day.

Chuck, competitionplus.com reported that he ran a 10.61 @ 123 mph. on his first run. I imagine he probably "tuned it up" some from that run. He will be at Indy to qualify tomorrow.. NHRA.com will cover that round by round.....
