Race results from Malaysia

Well it was an exciting race this morning in Malaysia with plenty of passing and tire strategy and then the rain came. Teams were scrambling to go from slicks to intermediate to full rain tires. The race was stopped for safety reasons as the rain was too heavy. Jenson Button from the Brawn-Mercedes team has won his 2nd straight Grand Prix.Where the race was only run for 33 laps everyone in the points positions will receive 1/2 points. So instead of the normal 10 points for a win Button will get 5. The interesting fact about this is he didn't even have a team 2 months ago.
So stay tuned because in 12 days time we will be in China for the Chinese GP.

I though that they run the whole race even if its raining?

I wish that the truck series would do that. that would be cool.

It was the amount of rain, it was crazy. I lost the feed from Malaysia for a few minutes because the grand stand got hit by lightening and it knocked out the TV gear there. They usually can run a complete race in rain but today it was too much. Also at speed those cars have so much down force that the bottom of the car is only a few mm. off the pavement. Crazy eh ?

If you have Sat. they're on a few channels. But Speed has it, in Canada you can catch them on TSN. Tune in Mr Beans, you'll like it man.
