so did anyone else hear that the Russian Govt. is going to be opening part of the.... idr what its called zone around the town but next year its going to be open for tours !

from what i heard on the radeo there going to take tourist into one of the citites near by and let you poke all around and what not, sound very radiating, and also possibly a good time lol

 

A few years back I saw a websight where someone who lives near there had driven thru, taken pics and a vid. I spent about 3 hours looking at all of them. It was really surreal at how unworldly everything looked.

 

when i saw that article, i wikipedia'd it and also checked out the youtube videos. check out the one for the life after people show on history channel...

 

Some talking head did an opinion about this, and it sounds like "no picnic" to me. The area hardly sounds safe, and the govt is undertaking to build a NEW ??safety dome because the old one STILL LEAKING is deteriorating.
