Cuda with a Dart nose?...

I recently stumbled across a 1966 Cuda with a '66 Dodge Dart front clip.

Engine and Trans out of the car (He has it and it comes with the car), he's asking $1,500 but I don't even know if it's worth it. Lol finding another front clip might be a challenge

"needs restoration. new brakes new rebuilt 906 transmission. 318 engine solid floors and solid frame. $1,500 obo come take a look and make an offer. will also trade for 4 stroke atv 350 and up."

Yeah, I know. Was just wondering if it's even worth buying it, mainly for show. I know it looks pretty cool being able to merge the two together so it'll be a head turner and a head scratcher on "How the hell?..."

It won't be my money buying it. My uncle would front me the $1,500 to buy it, then he'd keep it at his shop, so it'd be mine/his

I never said I was giving up on mine? Like I just said, the Cuda/Dart will be in my uncle's shop so he'll be doing work on that one. While I'm waiting on my neighbor's brother to get back from his vacation I'd be doing the Cuda with my uncle, when he returns I go back to mine and finally finish, so I don't see why people have to be on my @$$ about doing one with my uncle when they will both be finished.

Hey Steve, we are not on your a$$ as you put it... But we have been down that road already and have seen what kind of screwed up mess I have made.... I'm 59 years old and have been there and done that ... Just giving you my opinion... and you can do what you want to..... Some learn by their own experiences and some listen to others and learn from their mistakes..... Do what you want to...... I don't care.....

It's a pretty good deal for $1500, or cheaper. My uncle has a love for Cudas and I told him about this so he wanted me to check it out. I'll never stop working on mine.

Have your uncle front you $1500 and get your one ride going...

A 66 Barracuda, with the wrong nose on it, and needs a full resto is going to cost more then $1500 in the long run..

But here's the thing lol, NONE of my money is going into the Cuda, I'm only investing some time into it so I can drive it, My money goes to my car, his money goes to his.

Oh I know that lol, completely done would be a full ground up restoration, from tires to paint. Mine is just drivable, soon to be showable.

My car has a had a ground up resto, well, kind of. The dash was never pulled out, the headline stayed in, fenders and doors stayed on... undercoating is 40 year old original stuff....

It still isn't done...

Either something breaks, or you're always doing something on it to make it faster, cooler, ect

Ok ok, let me rephrase. A full ground up restoration, brand new EVERYTHING on the interior/exterior, with the most insane engine combination you could think of, all performance and you can't go any higher while still being street legal. There you go lol

Talked to the guy this morning, he said we can have it for $1,200, as long as we can put the transmission and engine in the car and have it out by nightfall. He even has a '66 Cuda front lol, the grill is smashed a bit. So I guess he's taking it.
