however, again, i remember when the NHL had players who made contact once in a while. so if that little elbow bothered you that much, then you dont think that players like grimson, probert, etc should have been in the league at all then?

 

the "little" elbow bothers me now because of what the league has become and is today - instigating and cheap shots in the closing seconds of a definite defeat has no room in the current nhl. you are comparing guys from the past in a vastly different league and applying them to todays standards which doesnt work.

having been a goaltender, i am pretty disgusted with the fact that pretty much every wings goal has come with a guy PARKED in front of the net. bylsma wasnt a good player, and i dont think that hes a very good coach.
