i know this is way out there but has anybody made any bullet / cartridge using a mopar - hemi in the name or engine displacement = bullet diameter ????
if not it's been toying on my mind for a while now .
i can't help but wonder if there's a chev or ford round out there .
if not i'd like to have a mopar or hemi headstamp on a cartridge 1st .

ok there's a place downunder bertrims brass co. he'll do a run of 1000 cases or more with your own cartridge headstamp . i really wanted a 383 deadkelly that would be a 9.5 mm diameter bullet . & base it off a 325 wsm case .
i was thinking wssm or 3006 cases as small blocks
wsm / 404 cases as big blocks .

ok me & a guy from texas have been coming up with a plan to build a round on a 303 british case for use in a NO1 MK111* Lee Enfield smle rifle . it's has a 10 shot magazine & is fed by charger clips / stripper clips . this build is to rival 444 marlin / 45/70 performence in the marlin leaver action but having a better shaped bullet for longer range energy , penetration , flatter shooting . it only requires a new barrel but of course custom reloading dies & maybe a custom chamber reamer ( although there will be one in texas or yous could use mine ) it will be a 411-412 caliber ( 405 winchester or 41 magnum pistol ) so was thinking about calling it the 413 max wedge . although the other guy's not a mopar fan he'd rather my last name or 413 deadkelly . the round will be very similar to the 405 win in performence shooting bullets of 300 gr & 400 gr @ roughly 1900 - 1700 fps but even faster again with the pistol bullets . it will far exceed the 30/30 by a long shot in every way & only be a shade off the 444marlin & 45/70 at the muzzle but will be flatter shooting & penetrate deeper then both @ 200 yards or more . where building ours with a 16-20" barrel's for use in the woods where a short handy rifle is the gun of choice . recoil will be a bit less than the 444m or 45/70 also . the best thing is the 10 shot magazine & the use of 5 round stripper clips that makes for very fast reloading , & any body who has used the 303 slme rifle will know it's a very smooth slick fast cycling action . anyway folks that's what i have come up with . cheers .
