mopar sunday in my home city

14.1 @ 97 mph , we put a msd 6al on it with no other changes & ran 13.4 @ 102 mph . but we still couldn't set the timing ( it was firing from 28 * advance - 55 * advance & anywhere in between . so that's why i decided to pull it down . but before we did , we put a 2" carb spacer on & cut a hole in the bonnet & took it for a few cains . & it was definitely pulling harder from 3500 rpm & up . the dizzy , bush for the block , oil pump drive , timing chain was all totally farked . so i think with the timing fixed it would have went much better , mind you my compression was down around maybe as low as 6.1:1 because of the 313 degrees duration cam . man i can't wait to see what all the new improvements make . i think I'll skip the 12 second bracket altogether .
