Andy seemed to have lived a long full life, and we all must leave sometime. He stayed out of the Horrywood controversy of sex and drugs. I enjoyed much of his work, and even today, there's a network playing reruns of the old sheriff.

 

Andy will be missed!

His mother lived by my grandmother in So. Cal. and when I was a youngster visiting my grandma, I'd see him and his family visiting his mom on some Sundays....

I once even asked him 'where Opie was'..... lol
