Hello Friend
I think we need more info here. I don't recall a Hemi that small. But maybe I was asleep when they produced them.
Just the block with no heads? The combustion chamber design in reference to a hemi is the head chamber.
If it is a 273, there where no Hemi's. Chrysler in the old style engines had 331's, 354's and 392's.
The Dodge's where polysphere engine's even though outwardly they appeared to be Hemi's and the Desoto's? I'm not sure, I believe there Hemi's where weird sizes, Like a 346?
What was it rumored to have come out of and does it have the heads and valve covers?

broke
I'm not sure what it came out of, the guy said that it is a '55. I haven't seen it yet or talked to him a whole lot, so I don't know if it has had any work done to it or not yet. Yes he is selling just the block and the crankshaft. I have gone through and did some budgeting and I can't afford it. If somebody would like this guys number and give him a call he lives in Tipp City, OH. Let me know if anybody is interested.
