360 build (Nitrous)

Hey guys, new here. So I’m about to start building a 360 for drag racing. I already have a W2 iron heads set, victor jr intake manifold and crankshaft. Thinking about putting in some Wiseco forged flat top pistons and run a two stage nitrous system (around 150 and 100 shots in that order). My question is: what kind and spec camshaft should I get?

It totally depends on the rest of the car, transmission type, converter, vehicle weight rear axle gears etc. on top of the rest of the engine CR fuel header size. You need to build a package depending on how quickl you would like to go and what body you are using.

It’s a 73 Mexican valiant Super Bee, which is an A body. The car is full body, roll cage, thinking about a power glide trans or 904 built trans, 4.10 gear. Looking into low 11s maybe High to mid 10s.

I could be wrong, but I think any cam that works well N/A will work fine on nitrous.

To make any kind of cam recommendations so much more information is needed, I would recommend that he talk to Comp Cams or Lunati Cams and get an idea of what's involved.
That's something the old mopar Engine books were good for, building a package.
