70 Fury Gran Coupe

Hi Everyone!

Several years ago, my father purchased a 1970 Fury Gran Coupe that a lady had stored in a shed, which her husband had bought in 1970. To our amazement, we got it home cleaned all the dirt and bird crap off of it, put a new battery in it and it was ready to go! Everything still worked on the car and that vinyl top was in almost mint condition! It even had the original radial spare tire in the trunk and build sheet under the rear seat. The only thing that has been changed, besides normal wear and tear items, are the mags that my father put on it to make it look a little meaner, but all the original wheels and hubcaps were kept. This car has a 383 and the Torqueflight auto. There are a few dings and dents, but all in all, it's in really great shape.

I know there are other factors involved that determine value, but he paid 3k for this. Do you feel that was a good buy? What do you think it might be worth?

Thanks!!
Ryan

Thanks for all the responses!! We love this thing as well. It's funny when people stop and ask where we had the top "done" and see their faces when we tell them it is factory original. .....I will be sure to do that MReeves!
