Allow myself to introduce.... myself.... and my new little red truck!

Howdy folks!

No stranger to mopar but this is my first foray into the world of owning a mopar pickup. I bought it off a good buddy.... I know, I know.... never buy another mans' headache but, as I always do.... I fell in love. You can't argue this is a sweet little 2wd pickup. Short box, V6, Auto...
(truth be told, it's actually for my mom - she needs a truck to do garbage runs, haul gardening stuff and she doesn't need a monster, either) The beauty is it'll be good on gas and if we put collector plates on it, it'll cost like $108 per year to insure.

This truck has about 75,000 KILOMETERS on it and the interior is absolutely mint. The body is 100% rust free. My buddy was prepping it to put a big block in it.... but something to do with the '88 and-up frames don't allow using headers .... I don't know. I should have paid attention to that part.
But, the 6-cylinder ran great, he actually drove it for a while back in 2016. I just have to put it back together.... somehow and then have it painted. My buddy installed an 8 3/4 rear end with 2.94 gears and a Sure Grip. He also put passenger car disc brakes on the front so the truck has the mopar car big bolt pattern now and yes, the slots are staying!!

The only real downside is it's missing a bunch of little parts. It's missing some shift linkage, the kickdown linkage, some brackets and my buddy cut some of the wires for the ignition as he was going to run point-style ignition and I plan to put it back to factory. Hopefully that's where y'all can come in handy and help me find some of these parts!

Oh, I plan to! Waiting on a trans mount, trans cooler lines and a starter. I'd like to install that stuff before the engine goes back in. But I'm missing the trans bracket (that bolts to the trans), shift linkage, kickdown linkage, most of the engine's front dress....

I need some pieces!!

I See, Kind of a little pricey to import from the USA. I think I would check to see if you have a local Truck Wrecking yard or Salvage yard and see if you could pick up any parts from them? After that check with any and all Mopar folks you can find throughout Canada. Maybe check the Craigslist or E-Bay. If that don't work out...

Motor is in.... looks like I'm missing the V6 motor mounts. They're a 3-piece affair. I have the pieces that bolt to the engine and the rubber mount but there's a 3rd piece that bolts to the crossmember on both sides to fit the V6.
