Hi, I got run off the road in my 569HP C5 Corvette and it was totaled yesterday. I swerved to avoid a collision but then slammed HARD into a curb. State Farm totaled it prematurely in my opinion. I am still going to try and negotiate the pay out, as they really low-balled me. In a rash decision, I went to a used dealership immediately because I have been hot rodding since 1988. I now have buyer's remorse, but I need a fast ride....always had one. This is my first Dodge; I previously raced Camaros and my totaled-Corvette.
The 2019 Challenger RT has 26,xxx miles, and it's totally stock. I hate that. All my previous rides were highly modified. So I am starting off looking for ideas and suggestions. I can't afford mods anytime soon, and I now have to get back to work (I am retired) to make the huge monthly payments and to start modding it. I am still an emotional wreck, no pun intended. I cried my eyes out today when the the final word that the Vette was being totaled.
I'm looking to be happy again, and I hope this is the start of it.
Thank You.
C5 was totaled yesterday. I got run off the road. 569 to the wheels and now it is gone. So I picked up a 2019 Challenger RT. Looking for suggestions, mods (later on) and anything else as I am new to Dodges.
