engine troubles and tips

just got a 64 dodge dart, 225 slant 6.
trouble i am having is that i get a really bad vibration and hesitation on acceleration. i have replaced the plugs and wires, cap, rotor, and points.
that helped some but still feel the vibration. any suggestions?

Vibration... Check the engine dampner.... also check all the drive-shaft u-joints.
Hesitation... Check the Accelerator pump and make sure it has enough squirt.

Also re check your Dwell and then Timing.

Keep us posted...

"Just got it" first drive or vibration just started? With the parts changed do you think it is engine related? Can you feel the vibration in your hands (steering wheel) or seat of your pants?
