Greetings from So Cal
Hello,
New to the forum. My wife and I are "restoring" her mom's '67 GTX. I say that cautiously, as it is not a factory correct restoration, but rather a "the way she wants it" restoration. We are about 2/3 done, so now getting to the nitty gritty part of re-assembly. I'm going to have some questions lol.
About the car, been in the family since ~'78. Her uncle bought it from the original owner. Uncle was a tech at Chrysler dealership, owner brought it in with bad transmission, so uncle bought it for $250. Uncle fixed it and asked brother to keep it for him. My MIL, talked him out of it, and the rest is history.
Car was wrecked in '93? MIL passed away in '09. Car sat a long time, we picked it up in '11.
It's a 440 HT, AT, 3.23 SG car. Originally yellow.
Looking fwd to getting to know the group,

Welcome to the Forum...... Be sure to check out the Mopar of the Month contest.... Good luck on the rest of your project... A lot of Mopar knowledge here so ask any questions you may have... Also we do love pictures...... Keep us posted on your progress... I like the "that's the way I want it" builds... If it doesn't suit you who will it????? Build em for yourself and to heck with the rest... JMHO

Here is a couple pics of the GTX. One where we started from, and one fairly current. The black vinyl top, drip rail trim, and package tray is in now. Back window is ready to go in.
