hello to the group

I'm a resent mopar owner of a 1966 coronet 440. It is about mid way thru its restoration. Stillin grey primer. Interiour is in good shape except the top of the rear seatback, thanks to the calif sun heatbake syndrom. Lol. I do have a few questions regarding my ride. I was told by the guy I bought it from that engine is a 360cid, beingings I'm an auto tech by trade, n been playing with cars since I could manipulate hand tools, I. Know that dodge did not build a 360cid untill the early 70s. Now my question, how can I make for sure this is a 360, what year is it, what might the doner dodge have been? Also, I'm not sure the diff is the original. How can I check it out n make for sure of this. Where would identifing marks/stamps be located on the original coronet diff, n what would they be? I believe trans is a torqueflite, not sure of era on it either. So help on number/markings here as well. It runs very well, its got electronic ignition{factory}, 4 bbl holly w/vacuum secondaries. I give the mustangs the blues, lol. Any and all information is greatly welcomed. Thx in advance for help givin.

Look on the side of the block by the starter for ID should have 360- number. As to parts for motor year doesn't matter. Should have an 8 3/4 rear. IF it is original there would be a tag under one of the diff bolts with the gear ratio. sounds like it may have a 3.55Has to be a torque flight either a 904 or hopefully a 727
