Hello from Tennessee!
My name is Ed.
I am new to owning a Mopar. I recently purchased 3 1973 Dodge Chargers, 2 of which are in good running condition. I kinda got lucky as one has an engine I feel is pretty unique. The previous owner switched out the original 400 for a 413 Max Wedge that currently resides under the hood right now. I can't wait to find out the potential of this motor.
I also have two others one of which has a 440 which was transplanted from a 76 Dodge truck and has under 60k original documented miles on it. It is a beautiful motor!
I am looking at changing the heads out on the 440 to either B1 or Stage V Hemi heads and going FI. Any thoughts on either going SC with a gear drive ProCharger or Turbo please feel free comment with any helpful suggestions!
The third is mostly a car I am looking at maybe parting out, but is able to be restored if I had the time to do so. I also have a pretty good combination of three fresh 727 Torque flight transmissions and a 400 or 318 motor to choose from if I did decide to restore...so we shall see

It did have the cross ram on it originally and it's a 413 Max Wedge according to the casting numbers I looked up when I first purchased the car. It was taken from an old Chrysler 300 and swapped in some years ago. Unfortunately I do not have the cross ram as the guy who had it before me took it to a swap meet and well..
For whatever reason he ended up putting a Torker intake mani on her and the rest is history. And pics to come soon!
I have plans for this motor and would love to put a new cross ram set-up back on it. I've looked at Mancini Racing and just can't afford that and the work I'm going to be doing on the 440 at the same time. So we shall see what the future holds!

are you looking to sell the Max wedge heads. If the have a casting number ending in 518 I would be interested in them. My son are trying to put our 64 Belvedere back together. hlfishman@yahoo.com
