Hey guy's. My name is Josh, and i'm from Queensland, Australia (the sunshine state). I'm right into cars, and have been for a while. I was mostly a chevy man before but i got sick of the Battle between Ford and Chev, so i'm choosing to go mopar now. Kinda like when i abandoned microsoft to go apple. I have a habit of choosing the superiority in most things. But i so love moparism, and the best part are HEMI's i reckon. Well, if i can offer help on anything i will guy's. Dont be afraid to chastise me for anything, but remember i'm only young and still have much to learn. I'll help where i can though. If you have any questions, message me or send me an e-mail: mr.mopar@live.com.au

Welcome to the Forum
I hope I speak for everyone on the sight, that it is nice to have another participant on the sight fron the land of down under.
I love your red machine, what kind of powers driving it?
Do they still use Dehaviland Dash 8 aircraft to patrol your borders?
I have been a Mopar guy for years, but also have a 1973 Chevelle SS 454 (LS& crate engine).
The companys are always war'ing back and forth as to who is better, but I like a few models in all the different brands.
If I can ever help in any way, just let me know. I'm a motor head. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Hey Mr delaware, thanks for the warm welcome. I'm not entirely sure about the aircraft question, as i'm not into aircraft sorry. But, yes, i'm guilty of chevy'ing as well. I have a Holden Brougham with a 350 small block dyno'ed at about 500hp and 600nm at the flywheel. But, since then i have seen the light. Mopar, or no car baby!

Did Mopar have any manufacturing or assembly plants in Australia or was yours imported?
It is very interesting how things manage to get around the world. Your country is very large. What types of auto plants do you have there.
The car in your photo on your profile is neat. What kind of power and what trans. and rear.
The aircraft are high wing, twin turbo props with a tail shaped like a T. Therefore refered to as a "T" tail. There rather large, 68 ft long, 86 ft wingspan, height at tail 16 ft. Your government used them for border and coast patrol. There built in Canada.

Yeah, got no idea about those planes. All of our major manufacturing car plants are branches of GM, or Ford. We make Holdens, a GM branch, which make your pontiac GTO's (we call them monaro's). Holden make the cars, and fit them with either a Buick v6 or a Chev v8 (5.7L, based on the 350) and Ford Falcons, a large category car with either a 4L straight 6 or a 5.4L V8. All our other cars are imported. Holden does a lot of re-badging with opel etc. And Ford is just Ford everywhere.
The dart has a 8 3/4 rear end, 440 small block, and 727.
