Hi all
new member here
just some info on may car:
1973 dart Swinger thats 100% stock (tough there was a dealer installed power antenna and rear defroster fan)
It has a V8 and only 9,000 miles now, yes nine thousand, interior looks brand new (car was in storage for like 26 years)
I don't know what model V8 I have (single round filter element; if it means anything)
I'll take a pic this weekend and post it
by chance would anyone know what the car would be worth? I'm in the middle of looking for a new insurance company
regards
Ken

It looks sweet. I would guess you could get somewhere between 6-10k for it. I typically guess low when guessing on stuff like this. It really depends on what engine is in it. Can you get us a pic of the engine bay? That way we can see what motor is in it. Also i believe its the fifth letter in the vin reveals the engine. If you look in the online catologs on year one's website (www.yearone.com) you will find the VIN decoder.

maybe, It really depends on the demand, and unfortunately there isnt quite the demand for those like the Challengers/cudas/charger, etc.
It still might pull a pretty penny if placed in the right market (Mopar nats)

Here's the thing. Over time, the car will be worth MORE, except for times (like right now) when the economy is in the toilet. This is a poor time to be considering selling a car
There aren't too many original, low mileage cars left, so make an effort to take care of it. At the very least, you need to garage it.
