I don't know if any were built here in the states back in 79. Back then I beleive the car was called a Plymouth Volare. I could be wrong though.

79-80 Volare came with the duster package on them (A42 code ) I dont know how many were built in 79 but there was 5568 of them made in 1980. I'll keep digging for ya.

Hey Pedro, get the numbers of your fender tag under the hood, we will decode it and get the number of your car at least.

Hi pedro, welcome to the forum. Nuce mope. I my be wrong on this but. chrysler did alot of weird stuff in different countries, like useing 68-70 dart body styles in 76-9 in south america. 76-8 super bees in mexico on a duster body. do you know where your car was imported from ? that may shed a litttle more light on your search. Ive never seen a 78-80 duster that comes close to looking like your car.
