ManicMopar
ManicMopar
New to the board, but not new to Mopars..
Had over a dozen back in the 80's (from the early 60's thru the late 70's)
everything from V8 Darts to Satellites, Chargers, Furys,
even Newports & New Yorkers, plus others - great cars, all of them..
Recently, I have been diagnosed with ManicMopar Syndrome
(similar to manic-depressive, or bi-polar),
because I'm always going from one extreme to the other -
when I'm not driving my little tiny '97 Plymouth Neon,
I'm driving my huge, block-long '68 Polara..

Ain't that the truth!
It's great to be back in a big old Mopar again..!

I had so many back in the day, when they were a dime a dozen, you know?
Then I did not have any for over a decade -had a fleet of old Caddies, some Buicks & Mercs
and my '67 Chevies (which I still have)
but then a couple years ago an orphaned Neon joined the fleet.
I got it runnin again and put '73 'Cuda stripes on it and dubbed it the "Neo-Cuda" lol
Havin a "Mini-Mopar" made me really want a "real" (old, RWD, V8) Mopar again,
so when the '68 Polara showed up, I had to have it..
I learned to drive on cars like that,
so it just feels great to be rumblin around again in a big old Mopar!

(I still love my Chevies, but I haven't been drivin 'em
near as much since I got the Polara lol)
