my mopar

I have a 1976 Plymouth Trailduster, 318 with 3 on the floor, converted from 3 on tree. john deere yellow with black racing stripes. 4x4, with dana (i believe dana 44 axles), and 5 position transfer, 4 hi/lo, N, 2hi/lo. 318 is not stock, stock 360 went bad and one of the previous owners replaced with 318 in truck now, with 2 brl carter. dual exhaust with glasspacks. top speed? about 85, all out, and goin down a hill. gas mileage? 8. maybe 10 on a really good day. has 32" Kenda Klever snow tires that easily double as mud tires. black cap comes off all the way to windshield, cap is the roof, like an old ramcharger. lots of fun to drive, but has pretty bad rust on the body due to lack of maintenance by previous owner. I plan on doing a complete restoration down the road, as for now just trying to fix engine and mechanical probs. Hope you liked it, shoot me a pm if u want any other info.my mopar-duster.jpg

Welcome!

The 360 is externally balanced where as the 318 is internally balanced (If you did not know). Hopefully the PO who did the swap knew this as well and did it correctly.

Plans for it?

It takes a lot of HP to turn those 32" tires

Ooooooooo, I love it! I’ve a ’78 Ramcharger with a 440 and love it to death!

You’d be doing yourself a favor to put a small torque cam in there, like maybe the comp cams 256 grind--that’s what I’ve setup for the 318 in my Plymouth Fury.

More pictures of your TD!
