Need new Shell
Hello from Jacksonville Fl. Great to be here, I will be on regularly looking for advice and insight into my first project car. 1970 Plymouth Cuda. VIN says it should have a 383 but it in fact has a built up 440. Has a lot of rust damage and i have been advised that i should find a new shell and go from there.. So as of today, if there is anyone that has or knows of anything that could help, all is greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance for any and all help..

Check AMD for sheet metal patch panels and full quarter panels and all other sheet metal needs. The Cuda was popular enough that they make lots of sheet metal parts for it.

Welcome to the forum... Be sure to check out the Mopar of the Month contest... See the sticky for the simple rules and then you can help choose the monthly winner... I had a '70 Cuda back in the day... My son ended up with it and not sure exactly what happened to it.. He traded if off for something.. He and I both wish we had it back.... Ours was a 340 but it still was sweet!!!!!!!

Welcome from JAX.
Your friend brought the pictures by for me to look at and I recommended finding a replacement body. It's not a Hemi car, so I don't think it is worth the expense to try and repair what you have versus finding another car, but that is just my opinion. Based on pics and the extent of rust, I would say it would be a minimum of 15k to repair the body. You can find another relatively rust free car for half that and use what you want off yours. Stick it in storage and sell it if a boom hits again. If your wanting a '70, you could find a '72-74 even cheaper and replace the tail panel, bumpers, and marker lights to a '70. Those parts are readily available.
If you want to fix what you have, call Ivan @ 904-334-6747.
