New to American Muscle!

I just bought a 2016 dodge charger R/T and I'm looking to build it up piece by piece and I was hoping to get some pointers for where to start. I also have been considering a exhaust but I was recently told to delete the resonator and that would be better than buying a new exhaust? Great appreciate all advice.
