New to the forum .. looking for tips on buying a 73 duster

this will be my first muscle car if i get it... but i need some tips... like what i should look for and what i should watch out for... problem areas.... anything that will help... in the pictures is looks good... but thats the pictures...

this is what the guy says it has:

225 slant 6 with 1000 on the rebuild
Clifford 4bbl maninfold
edelbrock 500 cfm carb
lokar throttle and kick down cables
Clifford cam shaft
forged crank cut .20/.20
1.7 1.44 SI valves
ported head and polished on exuast only
66' block
KB 2.2l turbo pistons 1.5mm oversized (3.504 total bore)
Comp valve springs, locks, and retainers
comp pushrods
double timing chain from *** bros.
198 connecting rods
Total seal piston rings
3100rpm custom stall converter from edge racing converters
Clifford shorty headers ceramic coated
electronic ignition
7 1/4 rear end 2.73 gear ratio

Body has minor rust on driver/passenger side rocker panels.

give my some opinions on what you think about this info... thank you for your time

2.73 gears are kinda high sounds like to me,
hard to tell, what is the guy asking?
only thing i can tell you is look it over well, get under the car look for frame rot, spot the car with a magnet see if its a bondo bucket, look under the carpet, the rear quarter panels from inside the trunk, drive it and listen. i dont know alot about the slant six besides they are a good engine,
did he say what the compression ratio is with that set up? and what profile the cam has? must be a big cam and high compression with a stall like that,

thanks ill keep an open eye for all that...

he didnt say anything about the comp ratio or the profile on the cam...

2500 if i remember right... im almost sure im gonna take it home just looking for more info since I started researching the slant 6 ... didnt know anything about it still a few days ago...

welcome to the DEAL X2 with 66 fury careful with that rocker that a realy pain in the butt to take off and fix, but can be done the dusters love rotting in the fram rail by the torsion bars and in the quarters the 73 takes sheet metal from the 73s-76's and theres alot of stuff being remade for them great little A body AINT no BODY like an A BODY
