New guy with Dakota Sport Convertible

Hey All, Happy Holidays.

Been surfing around trying to find some information on installing my B&M StreetCharger on my '89 Dakota Sport Convertible. It's actually an original Mopar Performance part and I've had sitting around in the box for over 10 years. I was looking for a winter project and decided it was finally time.

Anyone on here have any experience with supercharging a pre-magnum 3.9?

I figure it should be a fun build - though finding a few of the parts may be a challenge since I'll need to ditch the factory TBI & distributor.

Done a few mods over the years to try & help the measly stock 125 hp: ported & polished the heads when I rebuilt the motor about 20k Miles ago; MSD ignition & coil; Edelbrock headers

Although dropping a 318 or 360 into it would give me a lot more hp for less money; I have all the original parts for the truck and I figure it will probably be the only supercharged Dakota Sport convertible in existence

iam not a real expert on superchargers. but i do know that O.E.M. cast pistons can NOT take tons of pressure. so find a real expert.
