New guy with a newport!
Hello,
I purchased a 69 newport about 6 months back and am in the process of slowly restoring it, and is my current daily driver. Unfortunately I do not know a lot about this car or cars in general, just enough to get by mostly by. I have joined this site after hours of research, in hopes that I can get some needed advice/knowledge or a point in the right direction, when possible. Any further information I can provide let me know. Its a 383 V8 vin H.
Replaced parts as followed. Starter, Distributor Rotor and Cap, Sparks Plugs, Plug Wires, AC Unit, Power Steering Pump, Water Pump, Alternator, Ignition Voltage Regulator, Nuetral Safety Switch. And soon to be carburetor.
What I really need help with is, I cant find a heater core for my vehicle, is there a compatible model or direct replacement out there?
Thanks for reading, and any help is greatly appreciated.

I just checked and have no data on even a part number. Sorry.
On custom apps I just take the old one to the parts store and pull the boxes open to find a compatible. If I have no old box I use foam board or a florist block to mock the size and 1/2 copper pipe to set the inlet angles for mock up. Dont be afraid to reset the firewall holes if needed.
