New Member Introduction and Help Needed
Good Afternoon,
My name is Joe and I am here in Sunny South Florida. I have been a mopar fan for years and still remember my first experience with one. Back in 1982 I had a 69 Pontiac Tempest with a mostly stock 350. It was a pretty quick car and I was happy with it until one night on the Famous Fort Lauderdale strip when I came across a 1971 Yellow Challenger, that literally left me in the dust. When I caught up to the car at the next light I engaged the driver in some conversation and found out that he had a 440 under the hood and that it was mostly stock. I was hooked.....
It took a few years, 9 to be exact until I was able to acquire my 1st Challenger. It was a 1974 Yellow 340 Base model but it was mine. Unfortunately life has a way of getting in the way of our dreams and while I loved that car, I loved my girlfriend and her daughter more, and the car was a way for my girlfriend to hire an attorney to fight her ex in a court battle, it paid for the whole case so it was worth it.
Flash forward to 2008, I had been working and had an accident through no fault of my own and through the good graces of my Higher Power and also a good Atty I ended up with a little bit of which allowed me once again to get my car that I had always wanted. The car has been a project since day one but I am hoping that it will be done soon. Here is a link to the car and the work being done.

Which brings me to my question and the help I need. I found a challenger on this site which is this one
This is what mine looked like back in the 90's and I want to paint it the same color except with different black accents. The above picture is from a guy on this site whom I have written looking to find out the color codes mfg of paint and exact name of the color but have not heard back from him. I am getting close to painting the car and am trying to match this. Does anyone know the owner of this car? Or does anyone know the color code of this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and looking forward to joining in. Thanks again

Thnks
For the replies and welcome. As for the color of the car i don't believe thAt it's a regular Chrysler color, or anything moPar. The closest I have come is a color from (do I dare) Chevrolet. It's actually corvette bright yellow # 952 and was only available in 1973 from what I can tell. So that's the color I have decided on with black accents. Looking forward to the final product. Will post pictures when done. Progress cAn be found on my pictures site thanks again
