Hello everyone! I came here hoping to meet some friends and to get some help/advice as I get ready to start my project!

Little background: I grew up among Chrysler's and Plymouth's, mostly because a family friend worked at a local dealer and my dad trusted him. I've seen four minivans come and go, several sedans, and even a little Jeep (compass). Sadly, that dealer closed in the '09 bankruptcy, so my dad went elsewhere, and discovered Hyundai and Subaru. As a kid in the 90's, i watched a show called 'VIPER' that was corny as hell, but had one awesome car. So yeah, my boy's dream would be a '98 Viper GTS. But that's for lotto winnings....

Anyway, right now I'm driving a 2011 Hyundai Elantra, which I do love. It's been a great car. But as for my project......well, that would be getting back and restoring to operational my first car, a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus LXi. It's sitting in storage back home at the moment, waiting until I can afford to go get her (from Illinois to Georgia). Been sitting for several years, so will need a lot of work. Hopefully, when the time finally comes, y'all will have some great advice for me! I'm a total beginner/amateur at fixing my own car, so this is all new stuff.

Look forward to meeting you all!
