well my father owned the bird 28yrs ago he sold it to a long time friend for 28yrs all i heard about was the glory days of the 69 rr a few yrs ago our friend died and the car got left to his daughter her brother took it from her and he sold it well that guy sold it to another guy 1 day my dad was out drivin around and he saw it sittin on a trailer heading for nashville he stopped the guy and asked him where the car was headed the man said tn the old man said no it aint 28yrs down the road the title to the bird was still in my dads name and the car now sits in my garage she still looks kinda rough but 1 day she will relive all the hell my dad ever raised

its a 69 rr with a 383 fully redone interior not stock one of a kind all hand stitched new carpet tach all the aftermarket gauges new rims and tires went with the solids 7in in the front 10in in the back sittin up front 225/60/15 and out rear 275/60/15 and had to have the good ol traction bars but theres 1 custom thing i added a water tank a small one and a pump with the hoses pointed on top of the tires to shot water or bleach or whatever i may use to get the tires nice and sticky i have 2 pics on here of when it first got here ill post more SOON of how it looks now

i have a problem and i need major help i broke down the front of my bb383 in the bird my question is should the marks on the cam gear and crank gear line up in the folling way the mark on the cam gear is on bottom and the crank gear mark is on top if someone can plz help me i would be forever grateful

You don't need a picture the dots on both should line up in a perfect straight line...just like you said....cam gear dot is facing the bottom and crank gear dot is facing the top.
