Hi to all the forum members. I just bought a '70 sport satellite that im hoping to put back together. I've been buying and scrounging parts for the last few months and got almost everything I need, now the hard part. putting it together. Im not a newbie to this( in my early twenties I had a '70 road runner that I never should have sold. anyway when I said I had almost everything, it came without a drive shaft, that's where I have a problem I'm ok with engine work, but as far as trannies back I have no clue! this weekend I have a chance to look over 6 or 8 what I am told are old mopar drive shafts. I'd appreciate any tips on what to look for Mine has a 727 tranny and am told the rear end is original. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ytown-al

Measure from the center of the rear U joint to the end of the trans output shaft allowing about 1" of play at the trans should get you in the ballpark.. for length The 727 yoke is longer than a 904 Just make sure you can return it if it doesn't fit
