Hello everybody. I have been reading the site and posted on the pre 62 section about my 49 dodge and decided to introduce myself. I have been into mopar since I bought my first car, a 49 Desoto in 1968. I drove that throughout high school until I ran it out of oil. I have had 3 roadrunners and many other mopars over the years. I currently own the mentioned '49, a '48 Chrysler, a '39 dodge 1 ton, a 47 2 ton, a '65 Satellite, a beat up '81 dodge D150 (318) that I converted to a W250 with a 360/4sp as well as a variety of orphan cars. Right now the '49 coronet has my attention.

Daughters boyfriend had one, black 318/AT. I adjusted the bands on it to get 1st/reverse working. It was badly treated, rusty and missing the window louvers, he sold it to a collector after he got it out of my driveway. Hopefully it is being restored.

Welcome mate. You can't go wrong with any of those mopars. I think a roadrunner might be one car I'll have to look for.
