New from Texas
Hey all, I love American classic cars. I've been a big fan of the Mopar muscle cars and love them in Plum Crazy Purple and Sassy Grass Green. I've currently got a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport(selling soon since I'll be in Texas full time and won't need the 4x4) and two 1976 Chrysler Cordobas. One of the 76s is a driver, while the other is a parts/project with no drivetrain. I want to fix up the 76 driver with a R/T or Daytona muscle look to it. The interior is currently burgundy velvet, so I was thinking of doing the car in Plum Crazy Purple with whatever stripes in white. The other 76 has white leather interior with about the same color burgundy carpet and dash. It was a high optioned car with pw, leather, buckets, sunroof, and it was originally purple too. I was thinking of switching the interiors although the leather on the bucket seats is cracked way too much. I've almost gotten a Duster a couple times, but the deal wasn't right. Besides a Duster I'd also love to have the likes of a Roadrunner, Charger, Challenger, Magnum, etc. Anyway I'll get to some pics
Jeep pics, posted way too big so here are links

That's my Dad's 1st car next to my 76(which actually is my 3rd car), it's a 40 Plymouth coupe with 36k original he got from the original owner. If someone is good with photoshop I'd love to see what you could throw together on a Cordoba and a 40 Plymouth coupe too.

66sportfury, no sweat you also said you have seen some badass Cordobas. I'm hoping to make mine look better although I think I'm going to stick to the 360. Maybe I'd do a better carb or exhaust, but time will tell. Looks wise I've got an idea in mind, I just did a very poor photoshop job, so I don't know if I even want to post it haha.
Oh and I was living in northwest CT, although that pic was taken in Delaware this previous winter. I've loved my Jeep and had lots of fun in the snow, but it's time for it to go. I think my mom or friend is going to buy it, so at least I'll be able to keep a tab on it.

Yeah basically besides the grille and trim. I'm not sure if they're Daytona specific for Chargers, but the paint lines on the Daytonas follow some body lines there on the fenders, quarts, and doors that I've seen on some Cordobas. Either way I'm not a huge fan of those lines in the body or paint. I'll pm you the rough photoshop pic of what I'm thinking.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to Texas. Not sure where you will be but if you are in the Houston area you need to check out Niftee 50ees every Saturday night on the NW side.
