New from Texas

Hello to all, I'm a newbie from Texas but I've driven and raced Mopars most of my life. I'm currently building a 71 Demon bracket car, please don't be upset as I didn't cut it up, I bought it the way it sits.

Thanks,

Demonracer

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have another Demon owner here Good looking ride you have there.

Just out of curiosity, what made you decide on the motor plates over the Schumacher mounts? I'm planing a stroker big block for my '70 Duster and am going the Schumacher route.

I decided on the elephant ears because someone before me tried cutting up the left side motor mount stand. The car will be a bracket car only because all but the main cab is fiberglass.

Gotchya. I remember when I was building my first big block Duster. I was going to use motor plates. Had a 400, and a 440, with two 727's and ended up trading it all with a '7 Impalla for a '74 Barracuda...that I totaled the day after I bought it

Fast forward to today, and many A-bodies later and I have my three. The Dart, the Duster and the Demon...

GOD I love this hobby!
