Newbie from Seattle

Hey Guys, great forum.

Bought my 56 1/2 ton 23 years ago from a guy in high school. Its ben taken apart and put together 3 times now. It has a 300+HP 318 with a 904 and a 8 3/4 with 3:23's. Volare clip and Challenger rear suspension, rectangular tube chassis built by my dad and I 20 years ago. Drives like a car! Custom mods include 2" chop, everything shaved, seams welded and filled, bed raised 3" to match the body line, Harley fishtail pipes, Halibrands, and on and on.

Looking to replace the 904 with an A518, and its a good time to rebuild the front end and fix an oil leak while its all apart. Cant say that I drive it enough; picture here is when my brother took it to Bonneville last year with his 8yo son for Speed Week.

Used to be my daily, and then it started getting nicer and nicer; you know the story. I need to start driving it more.

Back when I was in college my brother signed us up for Americruise 94 and we did the trip from Seattle to Peoria, IL. Won "Coolest Nostalgic Rod" at that show, and it has been to S Dakota and back more than once. Its a great truck and hoping to get it out more this year.

Anyway, thanks for looking.

I've always liked those older pickups, and that one REALLY looks nice, and I DO like the wheels.
