Not Too Bright
Back in 1975 when I was 19 I bought a 69 1/2 Roadrunner off of Centennial Chrysler(I think that's what it was called then) in Barrie on Bradford St.Gord Coates was the owner anyway.I think the car was there on consignment and I bought it as is.The 440 was gone and had been replaced with a 383.I only had the car a short time(got married and wife couldn't drive it)and sold it to a guy from Toronto.Hense the name "Not Too Bright" letting it get away on me.I really knew nothing about the car when I had it,but of all the cars I've had over the years it's the one I wish I would have kept.Anyway I joined the site to see if anyone knows what happened to it and if it still going. It was green with a white interior and was a 4-speed car.If anyone has any info I'd sure be interested.I know it's not much to go on,but I read that there were only 2 sold in Toronto and 1 in Ottawa back in 69 and no other close to this area.
P.S.Coates had a 70 Hemi Cuda Ragtop there when I bought the RR that he wanted $5,000 for.I've heard that it's still in Toronto somewhere.Crazy amount of money back then.I paid $1,200 for the Runner.
