I am having a problem getting my title on my 1964 dodge polara 500, someone put screws in the frame post vin tag so they won't except that. I have been told there are one or more secreat hiding places on the car where the vin number is posted and i have to find it and show it to the dmv. does anyone know where it is on this model, please help, thank you

 

I have heard the front radiator support, Some times the edge of the trunk under the weather striping. Have not verified this

 

know in 1968 and later it is on the lip of the trunk underthe seal
I don’t know about earlier

 

Metal punch numbers and some paint... go to dmv... strip the paint... reveal the OLD hidden vin.

 

Get the rite rivets from e bay. or The Mopar Spring Flying Show...

 

Those numbers on the radiator support are very, very lightly stamped sometimes. If the car has been resprayed they might have easily been sanded out.

 

i know different make vehicles have their hidden vins in different locations...

trunk lip is one of the places that i know along w/ the core support ...

 

You might want to contact this guy on ebay.... I think I will find him helpful to me in the future for my Scout needs....
