Hi Guys,
I just bought a 1972 Demon with no engine or trany. My friend has a 8L V10 from a 98 dodge ram. I was thinking of putting it in my demon, any advice on mounting it and what trany to bolt up to it. Or just any good ideas would help. Thx.

welcome , I would find a doner car/truck for the project as your going to need the electronics for it and since u need a trans im sure it will be the cheap way around it

It is not going to be an easy swap and will be very expensive requiring a Complete front suspension/k frame upgrade. electrical work & custom mechanical work. SO you would need a very large budget !!! Would be much easier in a B body, not necessarily cheaper

Welcome!
Sounds like a cool project but as said before, it will take some time and $$$. I'm not sure if there is a kit to swap the V10 into a Demon and if not then you are looing at custom mounts, wiring, fuel system, exhaust, tranny (which would cost some money by itself) not to mention how to fit it all in there. Is it posible? Yes but it's going to take a lot of work. A donor vehicle (like challenger said) would be the easiest way to do this.

Welcome to the forum.... Let me look at this thru different eyes... The 2011 Challenger Drag Pak has a V-10 in it.... Don't know the difference in the suspension between the two but I do know all the parts and pieces are available for all the Drag Paks are available.. Might be worth looking into.. Just another angle at the same.... Speeking of looking into something be sure to check out the Mopar of the Month contest.. See the "sticky"for the simple rules... Be sure to help choose the Mopar of the Month.....
