Weiand Intake issues

I am installing an old WEIAND manifold on a 340 with X heads and noticed that there are no water ports on the front of this manifold ? Also i can't get the manifold to seal. It is leaking water everywhere. Should the manifold have water ports on the front and back of manifold or could this be the wrong manifold for this motor and contributing to leaks ? If I need a new aftermarket manifold for a daily driver, which do you recommend. Also does any one know what the largest tire i can use on thr rear of a 1970 Dart with stock ralley wheels ?.

I had a new weiand intake on my 318 in my d200 and it never sealed up either. You should have waterports that match up to heads. If you get a new intake, go with edlebrock. I've never had a problem with them. easy to install and never had a leak.

I agree with D, ditch the weiand, I dont lik them ither. edee. makes a nice torquer manifold for a 318-360, that works great from 1600rs to 4500rs.
