Rollpin removal direction

Which direction should I go?

Not sure if I should drive it from the other side that is already pinched

It looks like it's starting to come out but I can't drive it any further should I drive it back the other way?

Is that the coupler for the steering?
If so put a little penetrateing lube on it and drive it back then out. Make sure your driver isn't to large for the hole.

I don't remember them only going in or out from one side. Drive it back and forth until you get it free....

To me it looks like the role pin driver is to large for the hole in the shaft.

I have a different driver that I've been using a 5/16... I live in an RV park & the neighbors👎 complained about the noise from me banging on it! so I gotta find another place to work on it... What sucks is that I already removed the pitman arm off the steering gear & now I gotta put it back on so I can move the truck

Removing that roll pin should not be that big of a deal get out a quarter inch driver and knock it out. Gets a replacement roll pin is no problem.
