Thanks man!

Well its only a day or soo away... today i started prepping stuff. Yesterday i painted the new brake booster for it.
Today I took all 4 wheels/tires off and cleaned them thouroughly also cleaned the drums off inside and out and checked the brake shoes/pads. Did a bunch of touch up of rock chips since the paint is only 20 years old.....
tomorrow my dad and I are swappin out the brake switch, brake booster, troubleshooting the non working horns, finish detailing it, oil change and makin sure she is ready for the 6hrs of driving she'll endure on sunday.

Its not even my car and yet i still do 75% of the work on it. Its a love hate relationship

Is that just a 77 Volare or did it have the RR package Nice !!!! Just like the RR I used to have, mine had a sun roof. ON the horn I would check the foam in the steering wheel horn button it deteriorates and you get no connection. It is fixable for cheap with some hardware store material

YES, factory roadrunner superpak t-top car... Its got an aftermarket wheel on it now so i dont have to worry about the foam in the stock wheel no more.

Well, today we finished everything up and she's ready for the trip...
Installed new brake booster (which resolved the massive vaccum leak)
Installed new brake switch
adjusted timing/holley projection computer and got it running/idling better
changed the oil...which hasnt been done since idk when...
checked the trans
switched out all the bolts that can be seen in the engine compartment over to button head stainless bolts.
and gave it a good wipe down. I'll post pics when I get home late tomorrow. Hopefully I meet some cool people while Im there.
