I can hardly hear my flasher signals any more. I want to get an extra loud one to replace the current flasher.

The Haynes book says that it is located between the fuse block and the brake pedal (I assume the emergency brake pedal) on a bracket under the driver's side air conditioning duct.

I popped the end panel of the dash and got to the fuse block, but I don't see anything in there that matches that description above.

I need help finding this flasher, so I can put in a loud one and avoiddriving across city with my emergency flashers on without being aware. That is embarrassing!
