2015 Charger... EW
http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/charger/2015.html
You guys seen this yet?
Just my opinion but the only thing I can say about this is ... Ew. Just putrid. The previous model was closer to the second gen chargers with the tail lights and indentions in the doors. I thought they were making progress going for that awesome charger look that everyone fell in love with from 68-70. But nope... now they are gonna make it look like that thing they call a "Dart". As for the new dart thats a whole other disappointment made for a 16 yr old girls first car, that we wont get into lol.
Those guys in the design department act like its a tough thing to grasp. Its pretty obvious people want that nostalgic look. Just look at the challenger, camaro, and mustang. Those things are sellin like hot cakes because they did something right. Based them heavily on their older designs. I think all of us would love to see the charger look like a 68-70 charger again (and offered in a 2 door version). And the dart should have been based off the 68 or 69 model. If they really wanted to be different they could have went with the best dart of all time (in my opinion) the 62 model and based it off that. That would have put something completely new and fresh on the table that with a modern twist would probably look amazing.
And as for bringing cool rides back to life... We need to see the coronet based off the 68-70 models (would love to see one based off the rear end(doors back) of a 68 and the front clip of a 70) A coronet that really emphasizes that pissed off bee look. And then put the Super Bee name back where it started and belongs (on the coronet). And then a fury, polara, or savoy (whatever) based off of the 62 model. And then the Demon.. I know they had some crappy concept that looked like a 350z but man there are so many cool things that could be done with the Demon its crazy.
At least they are getting one thing right with he new Hemi's. I gotta say I'm really impressed with those. Love that they are bringing the 426 back.
Anyways thats the end of my rant over these just stupid designs coming out of chrysler these days.

When they first came out with the "Charger" model hated it with 4 doors
They have spruced it up with HP options but to me it's a 4 door "300" car not a Charger.
I would buy one like I would a Camry or Fusion for my wife but not as "MY" car.
I've always thought they should have made a 2 door version as well.

I know they are probably going for some type of aerodynamic advantage, but the front grill and head lights should be flatter across the front of the car. It would look more old school with a flatter front end. This does look too much like their new dart.

Glad I'm not the only one unhappy with the design. I agree with Archer and Coronet 500. The "Charger" to me isn't a Charger. It should be a 2 door muscle car. Not a 4 door family car with the option of muscle. Same goes for the Super Bee. The Super Bee name should have never been put a 4 door family car. The Super Bee was (back in the day) intended to be nothing but muscle. A raw no luxury all performance bad *** ride. A car that sacrifices luxury for performance to be a cheaper alternative to the R/T Coronet. Nothing about the new 4 door charger says raw muscle. The least they could have done was move the name to the challenger. Would be cool to see them do the same thing. Have it available as a cheaper alternative that sacrifices luxury for performance. Rather than doing a limited edition run where its actually more expensive.
