Hi i have a 1996 neon 2.0 sohc automatic euro, and sometimes the engine shut down when driving for an unknown isue ,the revs gone down and its like a stalling on a manual car (its auto)and stop, the lights and radio still working so maybe not a electric isue, i think is not an overheating problem cause the engine sems normal temp
it isnt the ignition coil is changed alrready

Is a random problem sometimes 5 times a day, or dont stop on long periods of time. when i carry people sems to fail more frequently

Should be some way to hook up scaner OBDII Read the codes otherwise you are flying blind !!!!

 

After you stop and cycle ignition... Car is ok?

 

yes,it starts properly

 

I took the car to the garage and any error code apeared, also on the odometer light doesnt display any code error

 

Trans solenoid pack can cause that problem. Just my 2 cents
