I have a 69 Dodge Dart 340 4spd that is pretty built, I currently have a older set of MSD wires on my 340 I am planning on replacing them here in the near future. What is a good brand to replace them with and why? I would prefer a different brand then what i am currently running with.

Actually the MSD wires have a pretty good rep. I've always liked Accel, but the reality is that almost any current Hi-performance wire will be more than adequate. The type factors in, if you need a suppression type wire or not and of course, color counts

I have had a MSD wire fail on me. I could see sparks flying from the positive side of the coil to the negative side. Very high impedience on one of the wires.
